The Sony Alpha a6000 is rank as the number 1 Best Selling
Mirrorless Digital Cameras in the world, Amazon report that it has been their
best seller for two year consecutively like-wise B&H.
The little compact interchangeable lens camera is extremely
powerful and capable for its small size, often producing some of the most
stunning images that rival cameras system two to three times its size and
weight and 5-10 times its price.
Sony wasn’t satisfy with just having the Best Selling
Mirrorless interchangeable lens Digital Cameras on the market, so they had to
make a refresh in the form of the brand new Alpha a6300 in which Sony basically
took all of the a6000’s strengths tweak them up by 37-41% fix all of its major
weaknesses and then took all of the things that made the a7rMii and a7sMii
great and crammed them into this little body.
The Sony α6300 is equipped with a newly developed 24.2MP
(unique to the a6300) APS-C sized Exmor CMOS sensor that works together with
the BIONZ X image processing engine to produce outstanding image quality
throughout the entire ISO sensitivity range ISO 100 – 51200. It can also offers
internal 4K movie recording in Super 35mm format. When shooting in 4K, the
camera uses full pixel readout without pixel binning to collect 20 megapixels
of information – approximately 2.4x as many pixels as 4K UHD (6K equivalent)
and then oversamples the information to produce high quality footage with
exceptional detail and depth. It also includes the ability to record Full HD at
120 fps at 100 Mbps, another first for α interchangeable lens cameras with
APS-C sized sensors.
The body is made of a magnesium-alloy and is sealed against
dust and moisture. As with most Sony cameras these days, the a6300 has onboard
Wi-Fi with NFC.
